Nero 7 Ultra Edition
Ahead Nero Burning suites have always been popular among computer users. The previous version, Nero 6, was our favorite because it was packed with impressive features and functionality. The new Nero 7 Ultra Edition is certainly not leave disappointed. In this review we will discuss the variety of programs that Nero 7 Ultra Edition comes with and how they work and if you agree.
For starters, Nero 7 is built around the same "StartSmart" engine which was Nero 6. It allows you to easily select the task you want to achieve and the appropriate application will start Nero. This is very useful for computer beginners or anyone who is not completely familiar with the interface of Nero and the variety of applications. The presentation of Nero StartSmart is very easy to use and it puts all the applications of Nero 7 to reach users.
Nero 7 Premium includes a new program called Nero Scout, a media organizer that keeps track of your video, audio and image files. It works in the background and updates its database as you add, move or delete these files. Nero Scout can be useful if you have lots of pictures on your computer because you can easily organize them into categories.
Nero Vision, Nero video editing, creating and implementing show, got some updates too. DVD Creation Wizard is now more reason to make it much easier than it was before. Another program is added Nero Home, which is a Windows XP Media Center like application with a similar interface that lets you watch TV if your computer has a TV-tuner card, remote control with wireless and offset Flow TV time (if your tuner card supports it). You can also make DVD with chapters now with Nero Vision 7.
Nero 7 still does not support the DivX format, but it has to use MPEG-4 instead. You can now create HD-DVD video files, but you can not create in Nero 7 because it is not a standard format for this yet.
Other changes to Nero 7 is the interface of some programs that were in earlier versions of Nero. Nero Express, the application of disk wizard-based etching with InCD program rewritable CDs, all received slight modifications to their user interface for the better. Nero BackItUp (one of our favorite programs in the Nero suite) has got a ton of new features. The backup program files can now schedule backups much better than before, the ability to backup or restore to external drives and FTP support.
composer of new music Nero SoundBox, is very similar to Apple GarageBand, as it allows you to experiment and create your own music. SoundBox, unfortunately, does not contain the most accurate advanced features in GarageBand, but it is still a cool program to play
Overall, Nero 7 Ultra edition is still one of the best of the best in CD / DVD and multimedia tools. In our view, it flies easily Roxio Toast 7 because of its huge amount of applications and tools included. The new interface changes and adding features really add to Nero 7 in a very good way. If you are looking for a new CD / DVD burning software, Nero 7 Ultra Edition is probably for you.
