MEIZU M8 Launched White One Called MINIONE
Let’s see a good introduction about the MEIZU M8: MEIZU few days ago announced the upcoming release of the MEIZU M8, which by the meantime seems to be a M8 to implement 3G technology CDMA2000 and TD-SCDMA (M8 have 2 models of different, each implementing one of these technologies). Unfortunately, these technologies are mainly spread in China –not necessarily in the rest of the world- with a minimal presence in other countries including Europe and United States. After a long time without news from MEIZU, we learned of two stories, the first is that very quietly launched a variant of the MEIZU Mini-One white, unfortunately seems to only be available in China, at least at first instance.
It is possible they do not postpone the launch for long, since the hardware and software will be like the M8, except for the required hardware modules for CDMA2000 and TD-SCDMA and their respective drivers. Another story that seems more or less exact is that the final units of the M8 in China do not have Wi-Fi –it could be terrible- not even using the familiar crack. There is always the possibility that it will not work with the final versions and really if you have Wi-Fi, but seems increasingly unlikely seen apparently. Finally, it appears that already are testing the international M8 units - of this I cannot confirm the source, I read in forums in English from MEIZU, but I remember that topic. MEIZU M8 can be yours for only 289.00 USD.
MEIZU M8 cell phone: A powerful instrument for your daily life, features and innovation from a high-quality manufacturer:
Comparing MEIZU M8 with several of its competitors and with a marvelous 3.2-inch AMOLED screen and WQVGA resolution, the Samsung A877 Impression is a great choice if looking for a touch screen QWERTY keyboard sliding track. This team had leaked the name Jack Frost and undoubtedly made a good decision to change it. It comes with a GPS technology included so you can enjoy location-based applications (and offers Tele-Nav GPS Navigator) in addition to geo-tagged images taken with the 3 megapixel camera is also capable of recording video. The Impression is a Quadband GSM 3G will be available from 7 April for the U.S. operator AT & T for about $200 with two year contract.
This week the Korean brand LG returns to the arena of cheap handsets and after submitting the GM200 LG now presents the simple GB210. This is a dual band GSM terminal with GPRS, Bluetooth, WAP 2.0, 4 megabytes of internal memory expandable via microSD card up to 4 gigabytes and a 1.77-inch TFT screen with 128 x 160 pixel resolutions. It has a simple candy bar design, it brings good quality speaker and can also play a variety of files: MP3, AAC, AAC +, MPEG4 and H.263. LG has presented in Ukraine and it seems that will be available in May at a price of approximately €90. At the moment we do not know if you plan to present it in other markets too, but probably will in most European countries.

High TDS reading on Reef Tank?
My 24 gal tank is cycling right now with live rocks and live sand. My well water has a reading of 110 PPM and after it goes through the RO/DI unit it has a reading of 70ppm. When i do a tds reading on my tank it has a reading of 700x18 ppm . IS THIS RIGHT? i have a HM DUAL DIGITAL TDS READING METER
One summer i worked at one of those "students needed for part time work" things that are posted at every college campus. It turned out that we went door to door trying to sell people water softeners by shocking them with high TDS.
The problem is that just having a high TDS does not necessarily mean that the solids are bad for your aquarium (of course TDS stands for "total dissolved solids") it just means that there is stuff other than water in your water.
TDS meters are notoriously inaccurate and even if you do get one that is accurate it must be sent in yearly to be recallibrated if you want "perfect" readings. This being said i would go out and buy a bottle of Aquafina water, the only water that i know of that always has a TDS of 0 and make sure that my TDS meter was accurate. Also when you clean your TDS meter after use i would just pour a little Aquafina on it every time after testing to make sure none of the residual solids in the water that you were testing dried on your meter.
I know that people do TDS readings on tanks, i personally dont since i cant afford to keep one properly callibrated and honestly i dont think it does much good (just my opinion though)
As to your reading out the back of your RO/DI i think that this is pretty poor depending on how much stuff is in your well water to begin with. Here in the high plains of texas you usually get between 700 and 800 tds from well, with a good membrane and 5 stage ro you can get your tds under 100 and using real good di's you can get your tds down to around 1 ppm but you have to replace your resin often.
What i would do if i were you is test my water for phosphates and metals and of course alkalinity, if all of these came back negative, i would just not worry about TDS, i have a buddy that uses straight well water for his mushroom/ leather tank and has no problem except the occasional diatom bloom (with TDS of 720 according to his meter that is 3 years old and has never been callibrated,) he does however use LFS bought water for his zoa, frag, and sps tanks.
